Can we book you ASAP?
Thank you for considering me for your photography needs! Before we move forward with any bookings, I would love to set up a consultation with you to make sure that we have the same vision for your photos. This will give us a chance to discuss your needs and preferences, and ensure that we're on the same page before moving forward. Additionally, I want to make sure that I have availability for your preferred date, so we can schedule your photography session with confidence. From there, we can work together to create the perfect photography session that meets all of your expectations. How far in advance should we book your services?
It is recommended to book me about 9-12 months in advance to ensure that I'm available on your wedding date. However, it's always a good idea to reach out as soon as possible to confirm my availability as dates get booked quickly.
What is included in the wedding photography package?
My general wedding photography packages include:
Lead photographer: ME!
Approximately 50-100 Color Corrected Images per hour of coverage.
3 months online hosting of password-protected, shareable & downloadable digital files
Printing rights included digital images
Photography Consultation and photography planning
Also depending on the package you choose, it may also include 1 - 2 secondary photographers, an engagement photo shoot, a wedding album, and/or additional prints.
How many photos will we receive from the wedding day shoot?
You can expect to receive about 50 - 100 edited photos from a full-day wedding shoot, but the exact number may vary depending on the length of the shoot and the package you choose.
When will we receive our final edited images? What format?
Typically, you can expect to receive your final edited images within 4-6 weeks after the wedding day, but this may vary depending on the photographer and the length of the shoot.
All images are edited in high quality, with no watermark. You will also receive a link via email where you can access the password-protected images and share and/or download them.
Will you be taking both posed and candid shots throughout the day?
Yes, I will capture both guided "posed" and candid shots throughout the day to ensure that I capture all the important moments and emotions of your wedding day.
Do you have backup equipment in case of an emergency?
Yes, I always have backup equipment on hand in case of any emergencies to ensure that I capture all the important moments of your wedding day.
Have you shot weddings at our venue before?
Having photographed numerous weddings over the past decade at various locations with diverse lighting conditions and with many different couples of many different cultures and backgrounds, I am confident in my skills and experience to photograph your wedding anywhere.
For many of my couples, I do conduct background research on their chosen venue and ask if you can share images and a layout of the location.
While couples may request for me to visit the wedding venue location beforehand, I find that every wedding is unique with varying lighting and timing, and thus, not always helpful. Instead, I typically arrive early on the wedding day and conduct a walkthrough to get an idea of the location.
Can we provide a list of specific shots we want taken?
Absolutely! I welcome a list of specific shots that you want to be taken, including family portraits and bridal party photos, so that we can work together to ensure that we capture all the important moments of your day.
In fact, I love having portrait lists and I can help you build them too!
Will you have an assistant or a second shooter on the day of the wedding? What are their Skill levels?
Depending on the size of the wedding, I may have an assistant or a second shooter to ensure that we capture all the important moments of the day.
One thing to keep in mind when looking for a wedding photographer is that some photography companies will market their services as including two professional photographers for a low price, but in reality, the second photographer is generally less experienced and/or have inferior or basic equipment. They tend to be newer in the business and thats how many people get their start in the industry. Now, there is nothing wrong with that but its something that should be disclosed to couples who may think they are getting a great deal hiring 2 photographers for such a low price. This is not true for all places, but always ask and take a look at the secondary photographer's work and skill level so you know exactly what you're getting.
However, in my business, I work with highly skilled second photographers who actually run their own wedding photography businesses. I have them work as my assistants/second photographers during the wedding, this means they are very skilled and adept and in the unlikely event that I need to step away, they are more than capable of taking over and ensuring that your special day is captured beautifully. This way my couples know when they hire 2 photographers they know exactly what they are paying for.
Can you provide us with a sample wedding album to review?
Yes, I am happy to provide you with samples of my work, including wedding albums, so that you can get a sense of my style and the quality of my work.
Can we request specific editing styles for our photos?
While I have my own signature style, I am open to accommodating specific editing requests to ensure that your photos are exactly how you want them. I do however tell couples that if my style is very different from what they are looking for it is best to hire a photographer who fits their vision.
Think of hiring a photographer like ordering a pizza. If you want a great pizza, you go to a pizzeria where the chefs have perfected their pizza-making skills and have the ingredients to make a delicious pizza. The same goes for hiring a photographer - if you're looking for a specific style of photography, it's best to choose a photographer who specializes in that style.
Just like how different restaurants have different specialties, photographers also have different styles and specialties. It's important to choose the one that aligns with your needs and preferences to ensure that you have a successful and satisfying experience.
Do you have experience working with videographers?
Yes! I have worked with many videographers and many other vendors in the past and am comfortable collaborating with them to ensure that we both capture all the important moments of the day.

Can we schedule a pre-wedding photo shoot to get comfortable in front of the camera?
Yes, I offer engagement sessions as an optional add-on to wedding packages so that you can get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.
I actually highly recommend having an engagement session for the following reasons:
Get comfortable in front of the camera.
Get to know your photographer.
Have fun with your partner.
Have professional photos of you and your partner.
Use the photos for save the date cards, invitations, or wedding website.
Get to explore different photo locations.
Incorporate your hobbies or interests into the photos.
Show off your personalities.
Experiment with different poses and expressions and get comfortable working with your photographer's posing and direction.
Use the session as a trial run for your hair and makeup.
Gain experience in front of the camera that can help you feel more relaxed on your wedding day.

Can I book a last minute session with you?
I love being able to work with my clients to create beautiful and memorable photography sessions. While I always do my best to accommodate everyone's needs, due to the high demand for my services, I recommend that you book your session as early as possible to ensure availability. This will give us more time to plan and prepare for your session, and help us create the perfect photography experience for you. Don't worry though, with a little bit of planning, we'll be able to capture the images that you've always dreamed of!
Do you travel for photography sessions?
Absolutely! I do offer travel and destination photography sessions, but please keep in mind that my schedule is typically quite full. This means that availability may be limited for certain dates and locations. Additionally, to cover the additional time and expenses required for travel, there may be additional fees associated with booking a destination session. If you're interested in this type of photography session, please reach out to me so we can discuss your options and check my availability.
Can you provide prints, wall art or albums of my photos?
Yes, I offer a range of high-quality print and album options for your convenience. However, additional time and fees may apply. I will work with you to create the perfect prints, wall art and album designs that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.
Can I bring props or accessories to my photography session?
Absolutely! I love collaborating with my clients to create unique and personalized photography sessions. If you have specific props or accessories that you'd like to include in your session, please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Are you also a videographer?
As a photographer, I don't offer videography services. I've found that specializing in photography allows me to provide the best possible results for my clients. By focusing on one area, I can be efficient and effective, without spreading myself too thin. While I do have experience with videography equipment and techniques, mastering both photography and videography would take a significant investment of time and resources. By sticking to what I know and do best, I can deliver the high-quality work that my clients expect.
We dont like being photographed because we dont feel comfortable in front of the camera. How are you able to help us?
I totally understand that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. As a photographer doing this for a decade I can understand as many of my clients feel this way so I have created a method to help you feel and look your best.
My goal is to help you feel at ease so that we can capture natural and authentic images. I'll communicate with you throughout the session to make sure you feel comfortable and understand what's happening. I can suggest how to 'pose' so that you feel natural and flattering, and create a relaxed environment.
Additionally, I can provide tips on what to wear and how to prepare for the photoshoot. I'll be patient and take the time to get to know you and your needs. By working together, we can create a positive and relaxed atmosphere that will result in beautiful and authentic images that you'll be proud of.
What is your booking procedure for Weddings?
Initial Contact: The first step in the booking procedure is typically an initial contact between you and I. This can be via email, phone call, or in-person meeting. I want to make sure I am available for your date and ask you general questions about what you are looking for and provide a customized quote.
Consultation: Once you have made contact, I will typically schedule a consultation with you and your spouse. This is an opportunity for me to get to know you better and understand your needs and preferences. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and discuss details such as location, date, time, and any special requests you may have.
Booking: If you decide to move forward with me, the next step is to book the session. This typically involves signing an agreement and paying a retainer to secure the date and time.
If you choose to have an Engagement Session - Pre-shoot Preparation: Before the shoot, I provide a guide on what to wear and how to prepare for your engagement session and discuss locations and plan ideas with you.
The Engagement Session: On the day of the shoot, I will arrive at the agreed location and start the session. The length of the session will vary depending on the type of shoot and the package you've selected but its usually 1-2 hours at one or two locations about 90 mins before sunset
Post-Processing and Delivery: After the shoot, I will edit the images and deliver them to you via an email link. This may include digital files, prints, wall art and/or an album.
Consultation: I will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you plan your wedding timeline. This is usually a back and forth by email till we finalize the timeline and portraits list.
Final Consultation: About 3-4 weeks before your wedding day. I will review your wedding day timeline and offer final tips and tricks for your big day
Wedding Day: On the day of the shoot, I will arrive at the agreed location and photograph your big day!!
Post-Processing and Delivery: After the shoot, I will edit the images & deliver!
