Wedding Portrait Guide – Family & Group Shots

This list is a general starting point to help us plan your family and group portraits efficiently. You're welcome to adjust, add, or remove anything based on your needs and family dynamics.

Why it matters:

  • Helps us know how much time to allot.
  • Ensures we don’t miss important people.
  • Keeps the session organized and smooth.
  • Gives you peace of mind on your wedding day.

💡 Important Notes:

  • Please let me know if there are any sensitive family dynamics (e.g. individuals who shouldn’t stand next to each other or be in the same photo).
  • If you're expecting elderly guests or young kids in these photos, we may want to schedule their groupings earlier for their comfort.
  • Share any cultural or traditional combinations you’d like included!

📝 Important Pro Tips:

  • Appoint a friend or family member who knows the guests to help wrangle people for group shots. Ideally from each side!
  • Bring a printed list on the day-of and share it with your coordinator and other vendors who may need it.
  • If there’s limited time, prioritize the “must-haves” and we’ll work our way down the list.
  • If we run out of time, or we family/relatives are missing we can always take photos during the reception before the dances.

Please feel free to trip and adjust to your needs and family!
